I agree with you! Hodgman was dull and clearly a fake psychiatrist. The asylum 'reveal' was so obviously fake that I didn't think any of the jokes were amusing. I really didn't enjoy this episode, but maybe I will after another viewing.

I absolutely thought that.  The similarities in the jaw line kept distracting me.  I know it's not like they can really alter Burt Reynold's face, given that his image is based on a real person, but I kept getting distracted by the similarities in the jaw line and was hoping it was intentional BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME.
