You’re right. Spectral mass murders, trophy hunting aliens, killer Arnold Schwarzeneggers from the future, and cybernetic cops *totally* don’t belong in a series with cybernetic ninjas, pissed off thunder gods, time travel, Australian crime bosses with robot murder eyes, spectral ninjas from hell resurrected by their

Trying real hard not to let loose some anger and/or take it real personal that the video game-film genre has a huge chance at gaining legitimacy through Cate Blanchett’s casting... and Kotaku’s only take is to have one of its reviewers remind us that he doesn’t like Borderlands.

Agreed this is a different time but back in the day a shitty game was released and that was that. I’d prefer to live with the evils of patches if it means that eventually a bad game will become a good game.

I'm hoping it eventually comes to psvr.  I'm not buying another VR headset when I barely use the one I have

Someone said Musk is not Stark, but Justin Hammer: a rich douchebag who pays actual scientists to come up with revolutionary breakthroughs, then takes all the credit for the breakthroughs.

Aloy is, in my opinion, the best realized female protagonist in AAA gaming history. Not just because of her great character development, not just because she could be an attractive design without feeling objectified, not just because  of the way she navigated her world, but in the way she worked in combat.

You bring shame to the greatest of the Mana games.

Awww did you get upset that I responded? Go back to OAG and cry about trans people existing

I really feel like online games should have voice chat disabled by default to prevent such incredibly common problems. It is not that much hassle to make it so you can turn it on optionally or for people you friend.

XBox One caters to the shooty bois and the sports kids, the market for a JRPG remake there is probably not a giant audience.

Yeah, because people who feel things suck and we should attack them for it.

I don’t care if FF7 is multiple parts. This just means more FF7 and the next parts on better hardware. To me, it’s just a win-win.

“Remember that game you played last year?”

The dig at FFVII is really unnecessary. I wouldn’t call the more in-depth storytelling “Filler” or “Padding”

I’m kinda glad Simon didn’t let us off the hook with a happy ending. You know, eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. That saying is being recognized more and more. Not many people are familiar with that one.

Are there muddy textures in the game’s slums? Absolutely. Do they look like they’re PS2-era? No. PS3/360 maybe, sure, but not PS2-era.

Because there are none.
