It does enough of that.
Maybe if there was a second boss battle, they could have something more like what you described. But the Rat King is one of the best parts of the game and I’d hate to see it changed.

You’re not alone. The article writer just hates fun.
Well, you’d be wrong. It’s pretty much the entire floor of a hospital, but hey, you can hate a game you’ve never played. Look at you, sunshine!
This is one of my favorite parts of the game. I’m sorry you can’t appreciate it. It’s absolutely terrifying and if there was some sort of health bar silliness, that would be completely stupid. It’s a panicked fight where you are more trying to survive than anything. I will never forget running through the halls as…
Honestly, Ryuji ruined Persona 5 for me. I have never hated a character in my party this much since Vaan in Final Fantasy XII. I kept hoping he would betray the party, become a boss, and then we’d never have to worry about him ever again.
I think a two year ban is fair. As I said last time, what he said was creepy and inappropriate but it didn’t seem malicious. Still, it has to have some consequences. Not a lifetime ban, but a couple years, and he has time to learn how to fix himself in that period.
This is a hard one. I mean, he is clearly being icky and I can see why she’d cut off the conversation with him, because really, who just decides to interrogate someone like that who tried to pay them a compliment? On the other hand, it doesn’t come off as malicious, but more an awkward loser dude who doesn’t speak to…
I have always hated racing games, but at the time this came out, the most gorgeous woman I have ever slept with was also a closet Star Wars fan (people don’t remember when being nerdy wasn’t a cool thing and even though we appeared to be decadent being in the rock lifestyle, we were huge nerds on the down low) and she…
I’m usually all for shitting on influencers, but in this case, no. She is providing that dog a home where it can live as happily as possible, instead of the sexual abuse the homeless man who had it was obviously inflicting on it. You are an absolute monster if you think any animal should suffer, just so you can feel…
There are few satirists as brilliant as Cohen. His ability to make racists and idiots expose themselves like this is great. I absolutely love that they whipped out the old “crisis actor” excuse for why the racist dickheads in the crowd were singing along. They weren’t actors. They were people who genuinely agreed with…
Wait...so, you think it’s worse for someone to tell a joke than for someone to spread dangerous misinformation? Could it be because the joke teller was a woman and you’re an angry little incel that spends all his time terrorizing women on Twitch, because that’s how you definitely sound.
I like having long games. Shorter games have their place, but I actually regret buying Resident Evil 3 at full price for how short it was.
At least that guy doesn’t look like a create-a-player before anyone has tried playing with the options. This is a bland and awful choice.
No, it’s perfectly understandable. They picked what looks like the default create-a-player from a game most of us don’t even want to play for free when there are a number of Samurai Shodown characters that we were all excited to potentially see.
I have never regretted buying a season pass before. This sucks, massively. They could not have picked a worse or blander choice.
To me, the reason why Duke Nukem Forever felt so awful was its tone. Duke is supposed to be a sexist, macho asshole, but for some reason, everyone in the game world thinks of him like a god. If the game had acknowledged what an asshole he was, there would be no need to change the character himself. He’s not wish…
I like it. It looks like what people in the 60's would have thought computers looked like, but 1/1000th the size.
Yeah, my roommates have a Switch. I played about an hour of BotW and never returned to it. It felt like an open world game with training wheels and no story.
Breath of the Wild did nothing special, except have the Nintendo name on the box. I much prefer Horizon. I never actually bothered to finish BotW. It’s a training wheels open world game. Doesn’t compare to Horizon and neither of them combined compare to Witcher 3.
After being bored to tears by Microsoft’s underwhelming presentation, I was a bit bummed that Sony spent so much time on stylized indie titles in this presentation, BUT RE8, Demon’s Souls, Spider Man Morales, and especially Horizon (I’m sorry, but the first blew away Breath of the Wild...for the record, the Witcher 3…
