That is a dangerous line to cross because you have to trust those who decide who can have children is not going to be biased/corrupt/...

Yeah, except they debunked that one too.

I'm actually surprised no deniers have posted. Or have they been universally squelched by some miracle of science and kinja?

I do not believe he ever will.

The anti-vax butthurt reaction to this article on facebook is getting pretty entertaining.

Of course not.

When the person who started the whole thing admits it was all a fraud, shouldn't that be enough?

If we can't trust medical advice from the Playmate of the Year, who can we trust?

Won't make any difference. Any evidence that disproves a conspiracy is just another part of the conspiracy.

It doesn't matter. Publish study after study, prove it time and time again... it doesn't matter. We live in a culture where nobody can ever admit they are wrong - and the more public the person, the less they can admit it. Jenny McCarthy, for example, will never, ever come out and say she was wrong.

Clearly other things are at fault here....you can't deny what you see here!

"It's all a lie! I'd rather have my kids die of meningitis or something equally horrible and easily prevented than have them suffer through a vaccination because noted immunology PhD Jenny McCarthy said so!"

Oh I love it. "Why do we need to learn how to do it without a calculator?" "In case of the zombie apocalypse."

I joke with my math students that I keep trig. tables and slide rules in case of a zombie apocalipse. I could totally add a math component to that middle school class.
