Every single news report has an underlying ‘slant’ That is why it’s extremely important that the reader/listener/viewer be able to use critical thinking skills. An event can be reported in markedly different ways depending on the journalists desired angle. That’s not breaking news.

Frankly I’m offended by “German” design. It’s as it other euro lux brands like Volvo don’t exist.

Not to go on too much but some things to look at between your 5 series interior photo and the Genesis one. The Genesis has a nice speaker grill over the small door tweeters that are in your line of sight, but the bigger door speaker below is just behind the same plastic holes you’d see in any car. In the BMW, even

Ah, you have the first gen. I’m sorry, you are probably stuck with it for a while. Dirt cheap to maintain and refuses to break but horrible resale value. Maybe it will enter “rad” status sometime.

As for design I find what you say very interesting as preferences really do run the gamut. BMW is timeless and elegant to me, even the conventional gauges that have hardly changed over the years (it’s sad that they will eventually all be digital). The interiors are the result of years of perfecting a design that you

Agreed. The face lifted G90 and the K900 interiors are freaking impressive. Hoping the rest of lineups follow the suit.

You know why the Genesis’ interior looks a bit dated? because it’s overdue for the next gen. The new one will hit the showroom next year.

The bimmer was just redesigned, the Genny is from 2015 and will debut an all new design this month. I expect the new interior will more than match up to the latest BMW.

It is difficult to judge an interior via photos. Sitting in it allows you to feel the surfaces, gauge the ergonomics, and get a real feel of design. That BMW interior you posted is really nice when you’re sitting in it.

Proably one of the most underrated values out there. Especially on the used market. It hits way higher than its price tag with its size and V8 engine

“As far as stately smoothness, the cornerstone of a luxury sedan’s essence, this Genesis has it down pat.”

I used to work at McDs, so I know for a fact the employee-facing system is ridiculously faster to use. Also I like to add mac sauce to my qt pounder, which isn’t possible in the Kiosk.

I’ve found McDonalds has really been forcing the kiosk issue moreso than other restaurants. Where there used to be 4 registers you’re lucky if there’s 2 now, and the station does not seem to be constantly manned unless a line has already formed.

Only thing I go to McD’s for is an egg McMuffin. Doesn’t matter when I go, there’s a line (double line actually) out to the street. I just go inside. But I have to say I’m not really thrilled with the kiosk screens. All of the criticisms above I’d agree with.

My thought every single time I use a self-checkout aisle and a human has to intervene numerous times because the computer doesn’t work or thinks I have something I don’t.

Deadspin Political Rant Trash Journalism? Here’s the perfect car...

Yeah, I’m a little conflicted on this one but overall the author is being petty.

asdkfjdk my GOD woman, get your head out of your ass. Sarah, you write shitty teen romance YA, you’re not out here writing the next Booker Prize novel. Of course a college junior, who is presumably in her twenties and you know, at university to challenge herself academically, wants to read something with more

How would Dessen even find this criticism?
