You do know that in D&D, 25th level characters can conceivably go toe to toe with demi-gods and win right?

Well they never really mention it but Sam and Dean get into alot of physical altercations. After multiple concussions you would be getting dumber too.

@ THE Syllogism, I totally get what your saying. But as I said before, I saw this article as being about sociology and video games. But you could really apply it to many things. Some people don't want to have serious philosophical discussions, and that's fine. But you should still allow other people to have those

Jews only make up about 1.7% of the total US population. It can't be for votes alone.

Yep, and now they have the internet to look up exactly how those problems were overcome.

I'm sure if Sea Shephard wanted to blow up ships they would have by now. It's not like they don't have enough resources. I mean, how hard would it be to build a simple point and shoot torpedo based? Or even have divers place a bomb by hand. These are all things that fairly easily COULD happen, but haven't. The fact

Yes, but why is that a US concern?

Ah, but you see that is where you missed the point of the article. At no point do we see the author trying to make a federal case out of the game dialog. I think he was making social commentary on the fact that homophobic speech is in the game and is overlooked by most people. The author is asking why do we as a

They "won the war"? Really? So gays can get married now and have all of the other rights and privileges as every other American? Kids aren't getting beat up for "being gay" any more? I'm assuming you aren't gay, and you probably don't have any gay friends whom you actually care about.

Not that long ago people who weren't themselves particularly racist would still use words like colored or even nigger to describe black people. They did this because society deemed those words as acceptable and it is evidence of what is called "institutionalized racism".

Honestly, that sound was one of the creepiest and most ominous sounds I had ever head in a movie. I know War of the Worlds got a lot of negative reviews and I didn't love it either, but that sounds was chilling.

how do you manage to last through the weekends?

Thank you. I do realize that the civil rights struggle was a much more important cause. But at the same time, I disagree with the government telling me which intoxicants are allowable (tobacco, alcohol, some prescription drugs), and which are not. I would never advocate for the legalization of ALL drugs, I just want

"picking and choosing the laws you obey or violate is philosophically indefensible."

not unless he's a vampire now with him being dead and all.

Look, I think you're missing my point, so whatever. I'm just saying that lot of people are ignorant rather than racist and they draw incorrect conclusion from limited experience.

you misunderstand me. It is very wrong to touch anybody, regardless of race without permission. I'm just saying that some people lack self control. Most likely the kind of person who would touch a strangers hair probably has many socially inappropriate habits. I don't think it's a case of privileged but more a result

Like I said, it is the true meaning of ignorance, that is lack of knowledge. Human beings by nature are a tactile people, we want to do more than look, we want to touch as well. If we have never been given the opportunity to experience something then we make assumptions about it. It's just what we as humans do.

For once though you could have in game ads that don't look out of place. I mean there are tons of billboards along the major highways that lead to most airports. Also you could have NPC planes towing banners. It would actually enhance the realism if done right.

It could be that her expectations for you hair was tied to how your hair looks rather than to the color of the skin said hair is anchored to. To many people kinky hair looks "rough", especially ignorant (not meant as an insult) white people who really didn't know better due to lack of exposure.
