@LucasReis - LOCK2K: uhh. jpop used to be that. but well. not so much anywhere. full blown fan here. haha.

@ChiltonGaines: Wealthy Gadabout: agreed. that was pretty fun to do. though with what they did with JSRF, I can see why they didn't do that. But yeah, the music, skating, there's just nothing else out there like it. very glad that JSRF still works on the 360, and my Dreamcast is still going strong.

@flox44: I have that game, and I've heard awesome things, especially about the battle system. Can't wait to get around to playing it. (my backlog, it is too huge! D:)

@Chapolesco: me too. and like NeoStarr, watching what I can when I have the time to.

@Tyrunn: haha, I am the same way. OCD, thank you, growing up in the NES and SNES era! woo!

@MercenaryDemon: Demon's souls is hard, but not complicated by any stretch.

@Batman: I guess I'm old fashioned but I fully agree. There's plenty of games out there that have simplified and streamlined battle systems, item management and character development.

@slamdance: I think it's almost going to completely hinge on how well that dance game is implemented. that looks like it could be a great party game. similar to how guitar hero was a sleeper success.

@Bouzi: Go Habs Go!: yeah seriously. I even managed to get my parents to watch it. They dont watch anime otherwise.

@SageofMusic: That seems to be a point that many seem to miss these days. Great post.

hooray, for whatever reason, the block on kotaku only lasted a day!

@Haydorian: thats okay for some things, where it's available, can you use it everywhere online though? what about the people that don't like dealing with money online?

I don't even like shooters and this looks awesome.

@discokill: still, there are plenty of cd stores, movie stores and book stores around. just because they dont have the large mega stores around, doesnt mean they're all gone. Don't forget all of the department stores and walmarts and what have you that sell cds, books and movies. Physical media is still around and

I know a surprisingly large amount of people that don't have a credit card/dont want one, and well, to be able to buy downloadable games with cash would probably be a good thing for them.

To people asking about her eyes being so big, there was a video not a little while back of them showing the makeup techniques used by idols and the like to make their eyes much bigger looking on Japanese tv. pretty interesting.

I saw a notice of this yesterday on twitter. Quite saddened. We have lost a great man.

I want to be that robot when I grow up.
