Hi, all! It’s solo wine and pizza night here... trying to make it into a fun relaxing treat instead of feeling lonely and annoyed that all my friends are out of town/busy with their SOs tonight.

Thank you! I'm going to share these ladies with her tomorrow! I appreciate it!

Links to be shared or names? White teacher in a middle school with largely black student body. Kiddo came up to me today asking if I knew any good makeup tutorials for black girls. And I was like no cause 1)I’m white and 2)I’m awkward while being terrible at my own makeup, but I’ll find you good ones.

To my great shame, I once did a similar thing. I’m Latina and had zero experience with black hair. It was picture day, and one of my African-Anerican students had some fly-away hair. I wet my finger tips and tried to smooth them down and watched in horror as her hair reacted to the moisture and curled up. Yeah.

True Story:

I cannot deal with this its disrespectful and why put this woman in the situation where you leave her looking ridiculous. If you don’t know how to do black hair learn before trying to do a on the fly look...like damn stuff like this pisses us off!

Thank you. I just read “Here Come the Janes” for my American horror story literature class and have to write a paper about how it pertains to today.

Is it wrong that I really really hate that dress? In a way that I’ve lost some measure of respect for her? God I feel shallow

Sadly, I will most likely be watching this garbage come September. I want to see how further Hazelnut Spread has fucked up her mug. I also want her to address the Kat Williams situation.

The only redeeming quality of that movie is Leonard, the System of a Down blasting poodle. Thanks to that, my 3 year old and 18 month old daughters both headbang when it comes on. I have video.

The five all have that vaguely thirty-ish Botoxed, fillered, veneered, extensioned, and rhinoplastied look.

I introduced an AHA and BHA into my routine with Nip Fab night glycol pads. It’s really made a difference in the week and a half i’ve used it.

That would be an unnerving experience for pretty much anyone. I’m so sorry you had to deal with it!

I have a recommendation for anyone who has a skin tone that no foundation seems to match. Check out Meow Cosmetics. It’s an indie company and they make over sixty different shades of powder foundation. It’s my new holy grail. I got their second lightest olive toned foundation and for literally the first time in my

I got a great new red lipstick! I went to Sephora and they used this wand thingie on my face to help me color match to my skin tone. I got Urban Decay’s Bad Blood and it is gorgeous! Got matching lip liner too. Yay!

Hey Jezzies— Talk to me about online dating. Any success stories? Horror stories? Tips? Is it something worth trying?

I have been waiting a week for this SNS. I’ll try to keep my story somewhat cogent. Jezzies, I need help from unbiased parties because I’m in such a bad place. I’m using a burner for reasons that will become obvious. The background is necessary, but this wound up being ridiculously long. I don’t know if anyone will

BEAUTY THREAD!

i didn’t think she was too much at all! i don’t even have a kid but i can empathize. i’d do anything i possibly could. i wouldn’t care if i looked crazy if i knew i was right. although, it would be fucking frustrating.
