To my great shame, I once did a similar thing. I’m Latina and had zero experience with black hair. It was picture day, and one of my African-Anerican students had some fly-away hair. I wet my finger tips and tried to smooth them down and watched in horror as her hair reacted to the moisture and curled up. Yeah.

True Story:

I cannot deal with this its disrespectful and why put this woman in the situation where you leave her looking ridiculous. If you don’t know how to do black hair learn before trying to do a on the fly look...like damn stuff like this pisses us off!

I got a great new red lipstick! I went to Sephora and they used this wand thingie on my face to help me color match to my skin tone. I got Urban Decay’s Bad Blood and it is gorgeous! Got matching lip liner too. Yay!

I don’t really get what you're trying to get at here? Colourpop products are really great; people are just mad that they switched up the applicators. The applicators are actually better for picking up metallics and glosses.
