Texas Chainsaw Massacre was the only movie to make me lose it. I watched it at a friend's birthday party as a kid, immediately following the OJ Simpson Bronco chase.

The concept of Frank's toe knife gives me the heebie jeebies.

Last night, I was playing a game on my laptop while my girlfriend watched that Nate and Jeremiah show. After she left the room, I looked up and My 600 Pound Life was the next show on.

The guy getting his brain sucked out. Rico getting a huge bug appendage stabbed through his thigh, then the open wound being surgically repaired.

The grotesque twins were more disturbing to me as a child.

Yeah, I don't remember that being super graphic or disturbing.

I never got very far into Robotech. I picked up a volume 1/2 DVD set at Best Buy a long time ago, but didn't follow up beyond that. Gundam seemed like a much better time investment.

That was brutal. *shudder*

What a dumb, dumb challenge.

I love it and listen to the podcast version every day on my way to work. Their chemistry is unlike anything else in sports media these days.

This is a favorite phrase of Tony Kornheiser on Pardon the Interruption and his podcast. He refers to the Washington Capitals as "choking dogs" because they fail to advance in the playoffs year after year.

Yeah, she's "Joker smile" in my house.

Malcolm in the Middle is hilarious. I would strongly recommend checking it out. You'll see Bryan Cranston in a totally new light. His character Hal is one of my all-time favorite TV dads.

Not to be a complete snob, but the current version of the show is basically dead to me already. I don't even bother watching if I see a high season number in the episode description. I would watch the finale, but wouldn't expect anything transcendent.

Aww, that stinks. I enjoyed half-watching it with my girlfriend while playing a game.

Ya lost me at "No need for several huge fight scenes."

Jeffrey Slambor.

Not even spirited away, huh?

Same for me but with Home Movies. I had all of the episodes saved on DVR (back before Comcast only let you keep stuff for a year) and would put one on every night while falling asleep. I did this for a good year or two.

Longmont Potion Castle (legendary prank call guy/surrealist) called there a few times. It's on Youtube - well worth your time. That was one of the first LPC calls I heard and it got me hooked.
