Speaking of "prosperity gospel," my girlfriend and I were pulling into a Walmart parking lot last week when we saw this really nice, shiny, new Cadillac. It had a vanity plate on the front with "CLERGY" and I wanted to barf. They're just rubbing it in people's faces at that point.

Not liking John Wick 2? That's a pencilin'.

I would recommend checking out the original anime movie if there wasn't nudity every time she uses her stealth mode. The TV series are kinda ponderous for an 11 year old.

If only he could lend some advice on my structured settlement. I need cash now!

I finally tried it with the credit card episode and really liked the host's straightforward, "Alright, what the hell is this?" approach. Asking the dumb questions for the rest of us. I think I'll try a few episodes from the beginning.

Step 1: buy a whole bunch of those scented markers from elementary school.

Yeah. Is this the one where you smash stuff with the frying pan, or the old and lame one?

It's funny when I go to Walmart and there are 5 of these toy boxes ripped to shreds and sitting on the shelf in the checkout lane. "Solved that problem, didn't ya, kids?"

I recently opened an Amazon Fire Stick and was very pleased with the packaging. I didn't need scissors and the packaging was compact and folded up neatly into itself. I thought that was elegant, in a weird way.

The video game podcast Giant Bombcast once did a bit about those shirts and joked about "donning a silken Goku." That phrase stuck with me.

Well, I know what I'm doing after work! Six feet of bubble gum - for you, not them!

As a minor at the time, I can certainly vouch for that model.

I saw Walk Among the Tombstones a while back and had no idea that was him. This guy is definitely on my radar now.

I've been playing some serious catch up with The Best Show this year. I binged a few this weekend and finally got to the Tommy Stinson no-show. That was such a great, weird episode.

Do you happen to have a ballpark figure? I'm curious. I made some comment this morning while watching the news like "Yeah, there goes $300 million."

Tiffany Haddish really stood out to me. She was hilarious. I wasn't really aware of her, but I'll be seeking her out now.

Man, I really need to get around to XCOM 2.

I'm looking forward to Tekken 7. I love fighting games, but was very disappointed by SFV.

Rogue Legacy gives you a little bit of incremental progress with each run. You can buy upgrades, runes, and equipment that give you more powers and make subsequent runs easier. I don't usually enjoy other games where you have to start from scratch each time (FTL aside - love that game).

I'll go to bat for his recent show The High Court. I found it to be pretty damn funny and he had some great guest bailiffs. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.
