Likely crash testing and slow volume as you said. There’s also a cost for dealers to introduce another product; they not only need to equip the service department as you said, but the sales department too. Labor is one of the biggest costs to any business and adding a totally separate product line takes a lot of it,

Its a great test, though I haven’t yet owned a car that couldn’t swallow my goalie gear with a bit of creative stuffing. That said my goalie gear makes me pine for the days when hatchback sports cars were everywhere.

I imagine most won’t fit under that bar but I’m glad to see it’s there. Even if it’s a stripper model, getting a 500hp, mid-engine sports car for ~$60k is a massive bargain and will draw in a lot of potential buyers.

What did they say to indicate base price? I didn’t watch the stream. I think base price is going to have a massive impact on this car’s success. Especially since the economy is due for a slowdown soon.

I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling this. The Bruins are the better team and it feels like they get to decide if they win this or not. Any time the Blue lead it feels tenuous.

The biggest advantage of consoles is that the devs get to specifically program the game to the hardware.

As a beer league goalie I know they only hustle when skating towards the other net, but I do it anyway because it’s super satisfying.

The point Jalopnik is often making isn’t about the actual cars they make, it’s about the business practices which are shady as hell. GM or Ford would get decinated by shareholders if they missed estimates like this or if they kept lying about production capacity or if they consistently violated safety regulations like

People buying half-tons optioned over 60k (Silverado High Country, Sierra Denali, F-150 King Ranch, etc) aren’t too concerned about payload. I parked so many of these when I was a valet because white collar dudes who work in the city love to have the biggest, shiniest toy in the parking ramp.

Sounds like you had a bad experience and now think everything about the car is junk. C6 Corvettes were built to a price point, like everything else. Sure, it might not have the fit and finish of a Porsche 911, but it’s sure as hell faster than any $30k Porsche. The Z06 is an absolutely screaming deal, even if you

I’m really hoping this person was being sarcastic.

Personally I prefer to think of the Winnipig:

Releasing yourself from expectations (easier said than done) is really liberating. For instance, I have no expectations for Marvel movies, so when I saw Captain Marvel in the theater I was just happy to enjoy some popcorn and Samuel Jackson’s de-aged face, despite not getting much out of a fairly typical “good guys

It’s largely EA’s responsibility to ensure that those leadership roles are filled. EA, as the owner of BioWare, is responsible for the management of BioWare. A good manager will notice when its charges are floundering and provide the resources needed. EA did not do this to a sufficient degree.

Awww did baby snowflake get triggered?

This thing screams sketch. In addition to all those things you mentioned, the exhaust is sticking out a good two inches farther than it should I’m not even sure how that happens.

What’s nice about this is when it’s all done the car can just roll a few feet into its regular parking spot and go to sleep, it doesn’t need to stick around and do anything else for the charger.

MFW a production car doesn’t look like the concept:

The BMW plant that makes crossovers (and happens to be their largest plant globally) is in South Carolina and its workers are not unionized.
