My vote is for COBRA Command.

Sorry if I offended you. I was just playing on the stereotypes surrounding BMW drivers. Personally, I don't care too much about badges, but so many people see that stuff and immediately jump to conclusions.

But then you'll turn your sweet, innocent teenager into a BMW driver. No parent wants that for their child.

I had a Dodge Caliber. It wasn't easy to work on or safe, but it had a big trunk, a great stereo, and didn't let me get into trouble.

Been there before. My first (and only) accident was a case of wrong pedal. I was too busy paying attention to how close I was to the car behind me to notice I was on the wrong pedal.

One must do so many things wrong for this to happen. How do you completely ignore the chains on the trailer? Or the latch on top of the coupler? Or the fact that that GMC has more than enough power on it's own to pull a pontoon out of the water? Or that it's much easier to just switch trucks rather than daisy chain?

It's the car we wanted Hyundai to build – RWD, with either a turbocharged 4 cylinder or a V6, and a manual transmission. Somehow it just didn't add up.

Agreed. So awesome, in fact, that my roommate has a poster of it on our "Import Wall."

That actually isn't an Ariel Atom, but rather a Lotus Elise 340R.

No matter the likes, I want to see some timed laps. We can't have you out of the competition just because of this social media bs.

I just took a normal 2SS autocrossing last weekend and it did alright, being in the F Street class, but I'd bet that the 1LE is a real force in that class.

It's hard to deny the appeal of 1000+ hp engines with quad-rotor Whipple superchargers.

I just read your other comment mentioning that you used to work for Bob Teague, and assuming you're not just lying to people on the internet (because that would be immoral), I will respectfully rescind my argument, as your knowledge far outweighs mine. Also, I hope it wasn't you that built my dad's 502s, because one

That's why these guys go to Lake Havasu. No trees in the middle of the desert!

They are still extremely fast hulls, but Dave uses a slightly heavier layup than other companies. For example, DCB and Eliminator have virtually identical bottoms nowadays as they were designed by the same guy (whom I've met), but the DCBs tend to be a bit slower with the same setup. And while the DCBs and Eliminators

I've done 115 at the throttles and holy shit it's amazing. Two Chevy big blocks, each pushing 560 hp, spinning at 5500 rpm, through water-jacketed headers, sound absolutely insane. Also, the massive whistling when the secondaries on the carbs open up gives me, as James May would say, "that fizzling sensation." I

Point well made. Although I have to say, from my experience, high-end powerboats guys are typically pretty well-behaved when they're out cruising. It's such a laid-back atmosphere because everybody just wants to have fun and enjoy their boats.

Yeah, these boats are amazing. I've driven a boat to about 115, and that was a hell of a feeling. And unlike a car you can go as fast as you dare without breaking the law.

Now playing

Here's a video of a boat with a significantly slower hull doing 176 with those motors:
