Last year's concept looked remarkably production ready, and for such a big vehicle it sported a comparatively tiny engine – only a 190 horse diesel. But then once you add in the 54 horsepower electric motor in the front and a 114 horse electric motor in the back, you're working with an adequate 305 horsepower and 516…
I kind of assumed there was when I wrote that message, but looking around I don't see one. Damn I love Kinja.
I'm at the U as well. And that makes sense that it's just more underground. There's no way you could get this many people and not have a pretty good car culture. My problem right now is my car. As soon as I ditch my parents' Dodge Caliber I won't be ashamed to show my face around some of those deserted roads.…
I'm in Minneapolis for college and I have noticed the large lack of vehicular activity in the area. There is the Land O' Lakes region SCCA and Brainerd, but other than that I haven't really found anything. And as for Brainerd, it doesn't seem like they hold any open track days which makes me a sad panda.
I never thought this was very good looking until my father bought one. After looking at it for long enough I've grown to love it. And driving it is another treat entirely. I'm currently having trouble deciding whether I like driving this or the '14 Corvette more.
It may not be tides but just a low water level. I've seen three different people lose their trucks down a ramp and all those were parking brake issues. But I've also had to put a boat down a ramp that was too shallow and had a good portion of the truck in the water. Shallow ramps are infuriating.
If you look at the first picture, you can see by the angle of the truck that the ramp ended. If I were to speculate, I would guess that the water level is lower than normal meaning the driver had to back very far down this shallow ramp.
I commented in one of the threads that was made to approve everybody that wasn't already, and it didn't happen. I've barely bothered commenting since then since nobody cares about the gray comments...
You're forgetting about torque. Small blocks are great but often lack the incredible low end torque that bigger motors have. For the past decade my dad has owned a 28 Eliminator with Teague 502's, and while you're right about the fuel and weight, it's impossible to argue with the sheer power of those motors.
I think that's a Radical. I could very well be wrong, however.

I'm so confused by this article. Who are we supposed to be mad at? Everybody?
Neutral: Tired Of Being In The Grey? Do a text annotation reply to this article and explain what an ATS or Escalade Vsport model might be like and I'll try to "follow" you for Jalopnik so you're no longer in the review box.
I grew up in the rear-facing third row of a Buick Roadmaster. I loved sitting back there, especially when we were towing our three-ton boat. My parents, however, were less enthusiastic about the idea of said boat plowing through the back window right into my tiny little face if we were to get into an accident.
When you can get an S-Class from the same year with the same miles for less money, it's definitely a crack pipe.
Can we not call this a "leak," please? I thought that term only applied to things that weren't intended to go out.
