@kid_moe: The corvette has done a great job actually. The C5 generation was lighter than the C4 gen with more power. The C6 gen is lighter than an equally optioned C5 with even more power, although I think the C6 has gained some weight to be a little more than the C5.

@tekamul: How different is that really than the Clarity? You can not buy the Clarity. The Clarity is only available in limited numbers and in limited areas also. Really GM just is not making people pay for the lease, unlike Honda.

Does the fuel cell not really have any moving parts. I would guess it would at least have some valves to regulate pressure and flow from the fuel tank to the cell. I would also guess they have some sort of cooling, so it has additional pumps and valves. I would also guess the the electric motor could be liquid…

@GTI_MK5: The rules would allow them to use a turbocharged 6 cylinder engine with a displacement under 4 liters in the GT1 instead of the GT2 class the 911 competes in now.
