The PS1 wasn’t the first console I’d owned, but it was the first one that I bought on my own (granted mostly with about a year and a half of saved up B-day/Xmas money). I remember that one game, Black, on the PS2 by Criterion Games. For it’s time, it had pretty accurate and amazing gun models, animations, and sounds. Also, the way that everything you shot at reacted either in breaking down or kicking up dust was pretty cool. Unfortunately, the story was weak.

I used to love UT2K4’s Bombing Run mode, this should be fun. Unfortunately I just started my shift so I wont be able to give it a shot until the morning. Maybe there’s a game or two up on Twitch.

Just do what I did and replay the game (or just pick up where you left off) on easy with a few extra mods to speed through the story. I did just that so I could have a save file ready to bring into W3 when it came out.

I’ve been a Scorpion fan since the original MK, but one benefit of playing through the single player is that it forces you to play with characters you probably never would’ve selected and from that found that I kinda like D’vorah and Kung Jin (at least when using a specific fighting style).

Still working through BloodBorne (damn chalice dungeons and too many other games out on PS4 in past month), but will eventually upgrade DS2 on PC (probably during a holiday sale) just to get the new content.
