Very true.

Yeah, wouldn't you?!

But... it's not different just because you access "a far wider range of programs". Who is to say that a year or two down the road, after you've bought quite a few games as well as all the social media add-ins, recommendations, and well... advertisements, that you don't end up having as many or more tiles on your

I... am.

"I'm not cleaning that up."

That doesn't make it any better. I'd be disappointed knowing I'd have to put up with that interface for most of, if not all of, the next console generation.

I've had a Win8 laptop for some time now and I can honestly say the Metro interface is still my least favorite feature of Windows 8. I'd find this somewhat upsetting/disappointing if I were getting an XBOne.

I'm going with PS4 and PC for the upcoming gen. I invested my "console time" in the PS3 since it launched this gen and have developed a pretty tight-knit group of friends that are all planning to migrate over to the PS4 as well. Games-wise, there's little on the One that speaks to me that I can't get from the PS4 or

It's basically Sony's Arcade edition. A cheap, entry level priced version of the console so people who don't want to pony up a lot up front don't have to or for those more tech savvy to allow them to buy their own drive without worrying about having a 120G or 250GB drive sitting around in favor of the version they

Agreed. I've had mine for a few years now (owned a G9 prior) and can't see myself using another mouse for gaming. Wired or Wireless, it works like a charm and I love making a unique profile for each game I play giving me true customization for any game.

I think the formatting just carried over past the game's title and the "—" into the next word. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.

I would say they are somewhat comparable. You aren't clearing a finite amount of enemies, but there's still a bit of strategy involved since the levels are objective based and not just aimlessly killing hordes of law enforcement. Tactics are important thought, especially on some of the harder difficulties or missions

CAN HE HOLD OUT?!?

I've already preordered the game on PS3 because some of my PSN friends that I played the hell out of the original with are planning on getting this too. At the same time, I am heavily considering getting this game on PC. Not only to play the Beta while it's available, but also because I'm sure in the long run there

I want to play this more than Skyrim.

It's an Off-Topic post. These are nighty and rarely about video games. Welcome to Kotaku.

This is like watching out of touch parents in a PTA meeting work themselves up to a frenzy over the latest (years old) thing kids are doing that they don't understand.

I was messing around with the Workshop last week with some friends, replaced all the weapons and L4D2 cast (only used costume mods on the L4D cast, no reason to ruin the great team) and found some non-comical special infected skins to make the game a little more intense.
