Yes... I know it's 256 each (Main and VRam), that's exactly my point. Even just having 512 dedicated on each would've had a serious positive impact on what we'd be able to do now.

512MB was only decent compared to consoles of the previous generation. When the goal of console isn't to make it solely a Video Game machine, but an Entertainment center... they expanded on everything expect memory. We got Blu-rays, we got upgradable Hard Drives... but they decided to stick with a measly 512MB of ram?

The point is that consoles should be created to be futureproof. Even at the time of its release... 512MB of Ram was laughable, especially for the console touted to have a 10 year life cycle.

Looks like my laptop will outlast the next generation as well. Anyway, if it doesn't have a few GBs of Ram then GTFO. I'm damn tired of my phone having more memory than my console.

Doom is like the "Hello World" of games.

I can confirm this is the case. The demo is just a trailer that can be altered a bit by pressing various sections of each touchscreen (front and back).

Deus Ex and Syndicate merged together would make the ultimate Cyberpunk FPS RPG. The boss fights in Syndicate were pretty good... in the back of my mind I was wondering how DX:HR's Augs could've made em better.
