The artwork of the original Gotham By Gaslight is undeserved by this style of animation. I would rather see something like Black Panther’s short animated series which more closely resembles Gotham By Gaslight’s original style

There is a short, 6 episode animated series that is incredible. The animation feels like a living comic, the voice acting is superb, and the story provides an excellent sense of who the Black Panther really is.

I bet part of the film will examine the idea of isolationism. That is something exciting about fiction. We can look at examples of fictional people to evaluate our own choices. Klingon, Wakandan, Navi, Elves, you get the idea.

I think Discovery will be more easily appreciated when it is fully released and can be binge watched.

I am enjoying the show, but the way it is constructed means that while each episode is filled with great moments, it doesn’t have the same kind of payoff as standalone episodes usually have when they wrap up a single story.
