Yea I was pretty hyped for this game until that moment.  Kinda killed it for me when I launched it.  I will prolly play it for awhile and quit, dunno that I can stick with this one.  Also, it feels like there are 5 tracks it cycles through at times.  Definitely not a mario kart killer here.
