i had this happen recently too finding my passion was always just rpgs and not mmos.  i enjoy bsing with my friends while i play.  the mmo was never the reason i played.

I actually loved the music but i mean its all personal opinion.  shame that its a turn off to the game for you but i get that feeling.  may need to try muting the bgm and just running your own music while you play maybe.
