I outright refuse the automated order/checkout stuff.  If available I will wait in line and speak with a person just because I know there is the chance they could try to offload those people from their jobs.  It isn’t always easy to refuse the convenience, but, I do try to do it as much as possible.

just checked steam and confirmed. if you got it on steam prior to the removal of selling the game, you are still getting it. Only future sales were stopped.  They are not removing the game, just additional sales of it.

Maybe Epic will shake that up.  Would be nice to finally see some form of competition to Valve.  Maybe they might even start making games again.

BBB is garbage.  Essentially plays off as a customer support question board they pretend to moderate.  Also, they do offer a grade bump if you pay up to them.  Company I work at tried to egt to pay attention to it when i was CS and I essentially told them that is dumb and I am not doing it.

Maybe I will pick up AC odyssey. I have been skeptical because of the pay 2 play micro transactions it seemed like it had.

Launcher platforms that are around now tend to be way more stable nowadays too and little impact to the machine at all so there is no concern for me on having multiple launchers for games.  Discord took care of the community side of my gaming anyways as we primarily utilize that for voice and communication.
