Cower Girl— Big Breasts, Bigger Coward!
Cower Girl— Big Breasts, Bigger Coward!
I, for one, welcome our new Martian meteor overlords.
The shows I remember watching, in the 70's, from the 50's were The Adventures of Superman, Twilight Zone, Rawhide, The Rifle Man, Father Knows Best, Lassie, & Leave it to Beaver. A lot of this stuff airs in reruns on a fairly regular basis. Seems like there's always a Twilight Zone marathon on during the various…
This is going to be a pretty easy miss since it's not opening anywhere near me. Might be time to finally get around to seeing Sherlock Holmes:Game of Shadows, or... maybe.. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
These images make no sense given the current state of several of the players. The Hulk wants nothing at all to do with humanity, so throwing back in with the Avengers seems highly unlikely. Someone else is standing in for the God of Thunder, while Thor languishes in limbo. As I understand it, Archangel came to some…
Brian Bolland is awesome! It's a real shame he so rarely, if ever, does interiors anymore.
You know, Lucas already has his own production company for making films. Why not just build his own cable station, adapt whatever technology he needs to make his series viable, and get on with the show? He certainly has the means to do it. I have no interest in being teased about this project for the next decade.
I didn't realize that Cyclops had joined the crew of the Enterprise.
Why would you hurt me this way, Ms. Woerner? I could have gone my whole life without knowing about this. I would have been blissful in my ignorance. Now, you've gone and stuck me with a dirty knife, pulled from the "could've been" drawer. Those wounds don't heal.
I get that the Bat-Family of titles is supposed to have close ties, but it would have been nice if Batwing had gotten through his very first solo story without the obligatory appearance by Batman. I felt the same way about Nightwing's appearance in Batgirl. Guest stars are great, but save them for something a little…
It's very nice artwork, but Dave Gibbons, himself, could be drawing this project & I still wouldn't pick it up. Watchmen is finished. There's not another story worth telling.
I've never actually seen It's a Wonderful Life. The local art house cinema runs a double feature, every December, coupling that film with The Christmas Story, which I have seen. Every year, I plan on going, & every year, I never do. This year will be no different. Maybe next year...
I had the same feeling last night. I kept thinking-"What is this show I'm watching? Am I on the right channel? Is this Monday night?". I actually felt kind of sorry for Josh, after his girl died. For whole seconds at a time, he seemed like a human being, somehow transcending his whiney, stock teenage character…
No worries. It's happened to me a time or two, as well. Better that multiple people say it, than no one does.
He turned me in Magnolia. I had completely dismissed him up until that point, but there was no denying his acting ability in that film. Should have won the Oscar.
No, no, no... boys are perfectly fine with the word "Princess" in the title. Like, say, "Princess Bride". It's the word "Prince" you have to avoid. No boys went to see "Prince of Tides". You see how that works? Silly Hollywood. Always getting things backwards.
I grew up with Newton's Batman. His version will always be "my" Batman. Always appreciated his mastery of anatomy. So many comic book artists gloss it over in favor of a more stylized representation of the human figure. Newton delivered the goods. Gone too soon.
It really pains me to see how little recognition Don Newton gets.
Well, well, well. I think I just figured out what I'm getting someone for Christmas. Thanks, io9.
