I want to party with that elk.
I want to party with that elk.
Well, of course, MTV's programming chief likes the pilot. It doesn't have anything to do with music. It's perfect for their network.
I always thought the best one was Animal Man. A bunch of aliens detonated a bomb in Earth's atmosphere that screwed over a lot of DC's super-heroes. Super villains, too, I suppose, but who gives a rat's ass about them. While virtually everyone else recovered by the end of that mini-series, Animal Man had to deal with…
I don't care what she does as long as she does something. It's been too long since I've seen that fine looking woman on the big screen. Or the small screen. Or any screen. Forget about the truth, is Gillian Anderson out there?
I'm buying this for the Giffen art alone. I don't expect it to last much longer then Kirby's original run did.
Both this illustration of Sin, & the female Ultron story, were the products of cheesecake artist Frank Cho. When you hire Frank Cho to draw a comic, or a cover, or a pin-up, you should be expecting all the female characters to have the trademark voluptuousness that Cho brings to his women. When Sin is regularly…
I would have included the theme to the Super Friends. It was pretty much the soundtrack to my Saturday mornings, throughout childhood.
If they're not, they absolutely should be. Omitting The Tick is a huge oversight. Honestly, it was the only theme song I was going to vote for.
When your audience only gasps in horror at a close-up of a rotten bowl of fruit, & the moment Charles S. Dutton kisses Halle Berry, then you've failed, on the most fundamental level, to tell a good ghost story.
I hate to be that guy, but the absence of the theme music to Kolchak:The Night Stalker seems kind of suspect. Even a little elitist. Just because a series couldn't get off the ground 30 years ago, doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed to compete. This horse wants to run! Open that gate!
Somebody get that man a codpiece! A red one!
Don't they already rerun the previous week's episode right before the new episode each Saturday? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to be able to catch the episode sooner rather than later, but I wasn't really worried about having missed it, knowing it would be on next week.
Not sure how you read boredom out of my original statement. My intent was to speak to the commonplace nature of hurricanes in this city, how they arrive like clockwork every year at this time, & that long time residents, like myself, should have a good sense of what to expect. That said, people I think should know…
Living in a coastal city of Virginia, I've been coming to this dance for 30+ years. In all that time, through all those storms, I lost electricity only one time. Only for a couple of days, at that. I'm watching a lot of people I know give in to hurricane hysteria, & it just perplexes me. They've had the same…
I'm as interested in seeing the sequel to Sin City as anyone, but I've got to say, it's coming a bit late. All the momentum & innovation generated by that cinematic world has been squandered. It's 6 years later, & the visual language of the original film is old news. Rodriguez needs to find a fresh way to present the…
Not if I don't watch them they won't. Check & mate, Ms. Anders!
Whoa! That's another 30 days from now. I don't know if I can hold out that long. I've got to have that cereal. Appreciate the information, though.
Does this mean there are to be no new episodes of either Avengers or Young Justice in the coming season? In the earliest days of my life I was conditioned to only consume cereal while watching cartoons. I need some new cartoons, so I can have some cereal. NOW! I need some cereal. I've got boxes going stale in the…
Lawnmower Man.
