I'm shocked that Friday the 13th-The series didn't make the cut.

Nice to know there are helpful displays on hand that reveal the identities of not only Batman, Robin, & Super Girl, but also, of the Man of Steel himself. In case you're wondering who Superman's friends & family are, why that information is just a couple levels down.

This idea is giving me vertigo.

Image failed to load. Let's try that again...... There. That's better. Art by John Byrne.

Jim Starlin's Gamora, from the old Adam Warlock series ( I think it was actually called Strange Tales). She was trained by Thanos, specifically to assassinate the Magus. She honed her skills picking off members of the Universal Church of Truth. She was routinely referred to as "the most dangerous woman in the

I'd say the bigger fool is Lady Stark for believing a story at face value & acting, rashly, upon it. A lot of the ills in this episode are a direct result of her actions. I hate the fact that the reasoning behind Jon Arryn's quest for King Robert's bastards has still not dawned on Ned Stark. I was suspicious of the

That was a good story. I'd actually like to see the genesis of the their relationship explored in greater detail. It shouldn't have worked, but it did, to surprising effect.

That's a cable series, not a network series. The networks are ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, & CW. Everything else is cable television.

So... the Doctor's truest companion, then, is his TARDIS. Interesting.

This is, quite possibly, the greatest thing to happen to Wonder Woman in the history of her 70 years of existence. Her bullet deflecting prowess is in full effect.

Hector Hammond is second to no villain. Third, fourth or fifth, maybe, but never second.

In Justice League Europe #32, Flash, Blue Beetle & Elongated Man are dosed with a powerful hallucinogenic while en route to pay a social call on the Doom Patrol. Turns out the hallucinogen is part of a defense mechanism specifically designed for the express purpose of deterring visitors. Seems the Chief is a

I just can't get excited about a series that centers on the Barry Allen Flash. I know the upper echelon at DC Comics have massive love for the company's Silver Age characters, & in most cases, it's largely deserved. Barry Allen, though, is a boring character. He's always been a boring character. Bringing him back has

Is FF on a bi-weekly schedule? I just picked up issue #2, & now issue #3 is being released? What goes on, here?

That bothered me, too. It's not like the helmet obscured his face, so I can't see the actor's vanity being the problem. Loki had to wear his helmet for a great many of his scenes. No wonder he hates Thor so much.

Thanks for identifying the Warlock's Eye. I'm not really up on my Thor lore, so I had no idea what it was. I recognize the Infinity Gauntlet, but I never saw it in the film. Guess I'll have to go look again.

That may be, but I'd still rather have the originals. I've always been a comic book collector, not a trade collector. To me, that's all just reprint material, a large part of which I already have.. I realize the format has been a boon to the industry, & expanded the audience, but the trades have never held any

Assuming the image loads (been having a spot of trouble w/that of late), this was the issue prior to the Simonson blitzkrieg on Thor. Thor was one of those characters that I just never paid any attention to, so by the time I realized the awesomeness of the Simonson run was taking place, I think about a year's worth of

Fair point. Certainly being an inept Knight made his execution that much easier to carry out. I understand that you're having to walk a bit of a razor thin line with these reviews, knowing what's actually happening or going to be happening, but trying to keep book knowledge from creeping into the individual episode

Kudos to Marvel for putting it out, but I think I'd rather use my hard earned dollars picking up the Simonson Thor back issues I'm missing, to finish the run in my collection.
