Unironically waiting for Cyberpunk 2078 on UE5. Witcher IP is zzz.

But America has spoken. Short bed picks need a hood that is a minimum 65" tall.

To me the most amusing thing is when they complain that some change in the code has made it impossible to figure out how to reproduce the same thing they were “making” before. Almost as though they have no hand in making it at all..

Because that’s exactly what it is, they’re literally just splitting up the content differently. There are some minor differences like apparently being able to do the content in anachronic orders, but let’s face it, barely anyone’s going to do that because they’re going to do the new content as soon as it drops.

That was incredibly underwhelming. No new subclass, no new enemy race (other than a single new unit), and an environment largely featuring old settings.

This is the worst outcome this merger could have.

I’d argue that save scumming in Baldur’s Gate 3 feels very much akin to tweaking a rule in D&D that you don’t like, or letting a failed die roll translate into softer outcomes

Had it not been for Armored Core 6 I was probably going to get this on day 1 like I foolishly do for so many major RPG titles.
I know the irony of still getting AC6 on day one, but I already have plenty of evidence from the youtubers getting in early, and my day-1 experience with FromSoft in games in general.

This time

Faction quests are not mutually exclusive and can all be completed independently

The mechs are in ruins and not usable

Well Starfield is getting shelved until after I finish Armored Core 6 in this case.

Actually it’s getting shelved until about nine or ten patches in, because it’s a Bethesda game.

That is, unless we start to utilize AI-produced assets, but as we’ve seen over the last year, the outrage is strong in opposition of this option, deserved or not. AI assistance could drop the threshold and time commitment for high-quality game production by a significant margin.

People who want things to change only want the things they dislike to change, not the stuff they like.”

There is not an official one. This is all “secondary” market, which doesn’t even make sense to me because the best weapons and armor can’t even be traded. Either I’m missing something or people just like paying for shit.

what....theres a real cash market in diablo 4?  I did not see that coming.  Considering they got rid of it early on diablo 3 i did not think there would be one for 4.  Dang..I would have hopped on early had i known that.  the only people who ever make money in these markets are the ones who get the good items early

I get this argument, I really do, but it gives short-shrift to the simple fact that $70 is no small amount to the average person, who maybe doesn’t want to feel the phantom hand of a publisher reaching into their pocket for more money every ten minutes.

Makes sense.

Not sure I agree with this, if you fail in BG3 your alternative is to think of an alternative, same as DnD, obviously choices are more limited as its a video game, but still same logic applies.

I dunno, this is kind of a trash take imo. I found the game to be very good about playing with failed rolls in a way a live DM might.

It’s not at all like DOS2 in tone. Astarion is indeed a dick, but he’s actually quite layered in that he’s a victim of abuse - he’s not selfish for the sake of it, he’s selfish because he’s endured years of not being able to be selfish and he’s drunk on the momentary bit of freedom he got. While he can be an asshole,

Aniston amplified this sentiment when she inserted herself into the conversation after it was reported that she “liked” Foxx’s post.
