man if the last 5-6 years have shown us anything, its that most of the american public are children.  it was easy to think during gamergate that there was something unique about gamers, but no, its everyone.  we are all descending into madness together.

playing juri in the beta and sf5 back to back really shows how hard they are pushing towards a more realistic feel for the game. all of her normals look like something a human could do in a fight, whereas in sf5 she’s jump kicking 8 feet in front of her from a dead stand still. sf5 feels like a cartoon comparatively.

just following the rules they created. cammy is a character thats almost 30 years old at this point.

even destiny strains under the weight of always having to have “something new to do”, and that game is incredibly fun to play moment to moment.

i would rather like some dlc though. i just had to say this.

people loved the idea of rpg elements jammed into every game when it started happening.  it would be cool if we are turning a corner here.

i personally could have gone for another 6 hours of that video, but i suppose thats just me.

i actually think overwatch supports are the closest equal to ff14 healers. a support played well is frantically jumping between heals and dps, the whole goal is to heal as efficiently as possible as to leave you the maximum amount of time to damage the other team.

to me, elden ring seems like the only big budget single player videogame that really kept people talking. i don’t know why i feel like this, like gow hit almost every end of the year list, but it still feels like nobody is talking about it even now compared to gow1.

oh damn did they really nerf support damage? i dont really keep up with patch notes and i stopped playing ow1 for a while. it FEELS like i’m doing more damage mostly playing ana, but thats just because with the lack of shields i have way more opportunities to do so.

i was just wondering, what rank were you in ow1? i feel entirely the opposite of you, ow2 is enormously more frantic than ow1 as a support main.

the old system was a million times more frustrating (i think) and people are way more likely now to work within their roles.  i’ve basically never seen a support who refuses to do support things just so they can deathmatch.
