you want the CIA to start doing the “charming, relatable brand” bit? is that really what you want?  the CIA?

i believe they have a new project thats been underway for a couple years, and destiny is still hugely popular with a player base that is largely ok with some of the dumbest monetization practices in videogames today.

posts like this do the opposite of what you want them to do.

interesting not having respect for something while also directly contributing to the worst parts of it.

oh come on, theres really no need to be nasty about something you clearly don’t like or understand.  thats such an absurd leap and willful ignorance considering theres like, thousands of hours of women playing and loving these games three clicks away from this comments section.

the tendency to appreciate something rare or unique is engrained into all of our psyches, i think most who would say otherwise is lying. but yeah agreed, that doesn’t mean we should happily appreciate systems designed specifically to manipulate that tendency for the profit of corporations.

a game that never ends needs to be fiddled with constantly. especially a pve shooter that never ends. theres only so much you can add onto the experience to keep it feeling “fresh” and “interesting” before theres a player power imbalance there that ruins the finely tuned combat loop bungie has created.

all he said was bungie knows what they are doing when they design moment to moment gunplay. and hes right, they nailed the combat loop.  its just about everything else surrounding that combat loop that is tedious at best.

i mean, yeah for sure. we are all just goofing off talking about our opinions, all that really matters is what art these guys want to make and how. its like the souls difficulty debate, none of our opinions have held any sway in the past and they probably won’t in the future.

sure, to an extent. all games are different, we should have bluepoint games too. but i think what from has managed to perfectly nail the worlds they were going for with all of their graphics work, and i don’t think its a detractor that from isn’t pushing the envelope like some massive massive studios are.

im no vegan or anything, but i think the sheer dystopian horror of the modern factory farm meat industry should be pointed out to wherever possible. it could only be a good thing for americans to understand what kind of suffering goes into the hamburger they eat every day.

man i could not care less, the last thing we should be wanting as people who love videogames is for every game to target absurdly high fidelity realism that need to be made by teams of a few hundred. it would end up being a terrible thing if every game studio was held to the standard of bluepoints remake.

from has alway

the fact that they thought itd be cool to tweet about means im not buying this.   im waaay too old for a game that thinks it deserves 500 hours of your time.

this is it folks, say hello to our future of nothing but pre-existing franchises colliding into each other over and over until the end of time.

the endwalker villains seemed to be a bit of nothing after Shadowbringers, if you ask me.

the real mistake here is the blogs masquerading as news outfits blowing up someones stupid thought that they probably never intended a million people to see. this website is embarrassing sometimes.

your viewpoint of the world is just absolutely exhausting and leaves leftism dead in the water.

i agree, the internet needs to be more misogynist.

im sorry, but “the anal staircase” would be a very funny name.

well i definitely wouldn’t.
