Ya know, not knowing the guy, and knowing he’s going to be in Baby Driver...I don’t see anything that wrong with him. I’ve seen much worse from people. And honestly, if I had a bundle and could afford a brownstone in the city, I’d do exactly what he’s doing.

It’s not the worse idea, but it’s not the best idea either. Probably having every bag randomly be one solid color of the five colors as solidarity would have been a better choice (and probably cheaper than making and investing in a white dye).
