Yeah, I'm worse off. They have me with the base game(+2 expansions). I really do like it. It's not a game I'll play daily, but twice weekly? Sure. And I'll excel at it. I have the best gear and lewt, and I'm half trying. Which plays into their vision of it. And playing with a good crew or two and destroying their

I lurve Shovel Knight. Lurve, sloppah lurve lurve Shovel Knight. I played it on 3DS and await its odd ps4 iteration. I'd say the only thing not in Shovel Knight vs. Diablo Console mk. 2's favor is multi-player. Which is off the charts, as it's single-player rather than versus.

Yeah, it'd sort of be a drag, but they put so much care and attention into it… I rather enjoyed their forced preamble.

Yeah, the world state can have a pretty dramatic impact on your Inquisition game going forward. You may be unawares, but it's there. Most of the previous game impact is felt at the beginning and end of Inquisition. Don't think of Inquisition as the third game of the trilogy, though. Bioware does the smart thing and

Dragon Age : Inquisition is a great Bioware game. It's getting GOTY lobbed at it, left and right. It's a fun game, with faults, but those faults are pretty easy to see through if you just want to relax and go about your fantastical gallivanting. It's not a fresh start into the series, but you can treat it as such.

Dragon Age gets a spot, because every time I flirt with Scout Harding, my special lady-lady friend Sera gets extra happy.

The Yawhg feels older to me. Like some table-top storytelling game out of 2011. But damn if it isn't good.

Not many things can claim the title of "Spawning Legitimate Religion in 2014" but TPP is one of them.

Ground Zeroes was scary good. Coupled with the Phantom Pain tease. I'm biting my Peace Walker Thumb.

Stick of Truth is great and will exist outside the Best of 2014 spectrum, simply for being one of the better, for all intents and purposes, seasons of South Park. Matt & Trey are the Masters of Film, Television, Theater, Music & Game. That's five, for those counting.

True. Swery selling Kinect 2.0 seems like an awfully Microsoft thing to do. Before they fired all those people. Also true.

I loved Wolf this time last year. Adored it in March. Sort of lost track of it for awhile. When it came back, I found it rather trying too hard. I'll be sure to check it out again at some point, though.

My list is almost complete.

This gender-coast-swapped Sex in the City : The Motion Picture looks like shit.

Dishonored is amazing. And the DLC is great, to boot. Depressing, but great. I've played through it all twice now. First time stealth/no kills. Second, stealth/creative but limited kills. Very fun game.

Last year, I remember playing it, and enjoying the first half of it, and the second half being a big disappointment. It also felt clunky on PC, feeling more like a tablet-game with lots of strange issues. Dragonfall started strong, got amazing, and left me eager for whatever's next. South America, perhaps? When the

Wolfenstein and Alien are both at the halfway mark, in terms of completion. The intensity is such that I get put off and want to wash my hands and let it rest for a bit. Not to diminish them one bit. Both are unexpectedly quality, and mature. Wolfenstein pulpy and brash, but also thoughtful and deep. Alien, a

I like pretty much all the characters. The only one who hates me so far is Vivienne. I think she's an eyelash away from quitting the group, though I did just complete a side-quest of hers, so she'll at least talk to me again.

Dragonfall is one of the best games of the year. In my top 5 for sure. Great writing. Dead Man's Switch didn't do much for me. Dragonfall is on a whole nother level. The tease of a third campaign is on for January.

Yeah, the Grey Wardens. The game is hinting at bigger things, and the Grey Wardens may have played their part.
