@cc: The 3GS has 256 also and a slower processor too.

Makes you wonder what the real problem was at WWDC. Steve couldn't get his demo to load because of reception issues...

Is it bad that a 2 Live Crew song came to mind when I read Meego?

@acidrain69: I know, I get that, but wireless N spec has been out as long as the WRT54GL. Linksys purposely shrank the onboard memory on the 54Gs and pulled some other tricks to force people to these "L" routers. But if the point is range and speed why wouldn't you buy N or draft N. I can run 3rd part firmware on

@GregH: I could see if he was just flashing a new ROM, but it looks like he bought new stuff, just seems a better investment to get on N. My 610N is kinda weak too, but it is fast and feature rich, plus can run dd-wrt when I get ready to fool with it.

This is a cool hack, but what's wrong with wireless N?

I thought it said it contained some whiskey...

In other news IE8 causes 30% of IE8 crashes...

@lewisboy: I actually use a different port externally for my RDP. In the remote desktop client I enter my Dyndns URL followed by the port. Example uses a port I found my corporate firewall had open madeupurl.dnydns.org:1494 . In my router I transfer external port 1494 to internal port 3389 and route it to the IP

@Hosscat: I just find a hole in the firewall and use RDP

The whole concept is kind of sketchy. It seems more of a rental than a purchase. I love the idea of a Kindle or Nook, the convenience factor is very high, but the fact that I would never truly own the book, or even a source media (DVD, CD) to get it back from really turns me off.

@XC Fan: extensions are on the way

@jbhenry: Because of the chrome content of stainless steel, I've had great luck using chrome polish used for car detailing. Brings a nice shine.

I saw one of these in the Atlanta area. Snapped a few pics with my phone.
