In an industry that gravitates towards retreads of all-too familiar gameplay concepts, this is a breath of fresh air. We could use more fun ideas like this that seem like they came straight from some child’s imagination rather than CoD: Future Modern WW2 Warfare 5 (although I do like those games too).

OR....A game is sorta advertised as one vibe/thing and having it change into something else midway sucks if you aren’t into whatever it is....Heaven forbid someone puts it out there as a warning to potential buyers to open up a discussion. Sorry you play games and have rose tinted glasses on everything you buy.

it’s cute you think anyone cares

Shooting and killing things doesn’t have to be part of something being a video game

So can douchebags. Truth is, you are one. Don't need to see a tattoo to read and avoid you

Pro-tip: you can be off-putting

Judging by the front page I think it's the case that for 12 hours he was the only one running Kotaku, likely to allow regular staffers the 4th of July off, while being paid freelance (low) rates.

You know what sucks? Working a 12 hour day on freelance rates to single-handedly run a website, and spending most of that time trying to highlight unknown indie games, to then find the only comment under a review of a properly great game deserving of wide attention is some sneering wankery complaining about a slightly

Night in the woods has stayed with me since I first played it in 2020 and I just finished a second playthrough yesterday, it really is something special, seeing this gave me full on chills

That’s the game I was trying to remember. Thanks!

Funny, I thought the same thing.  Guybrush enters the Mexiverse! :-)

This is going to be an even bigger obstacle to owning a home than avocado toast and netflix subscriptions.

To be fair, his profile picture greatly fits the comment made.

Dont let the door hit ya

These you?

Holy shit are you concern trolling an “I Quit” notice?

Maybe go for a walk, get outside for a bit.  Reflect on what brought you to this moment in your life.

Are you confused about how being in a hurry might cause a person to make mistakes and/or fail to catch and fix the mistakes?

I dunno professor, I’m guessing a couple of kids making minimum wage in Lincoln Nebraska might not be as tuned to (or afforded) the education/level of care that you were given. You’ve never acted impulsively out of anger when you were young without being a perfect communicator? Look at you!

Gonna go out on a limb and say that a group of angry kids in Nebraska who were quitting a job and leaving in haste probably weren’t worrying about the English term paper critique.
