But like, he even mentions the other games in the article. Cmon man. Classic meaning “older”.

It’s almost as if...there are more than two Metroid games.
Certainly not you, model of doing everything perfectly.
“Mania was fine, but 2/3rds of it felt like a complete rehash of the original trilogy. It was also incredibly short.”
BUT IT HAS FIRE
THAT LOGO IS TOO EDGY FOR ME
Articles like this? It’s a “what you should know”, not “this is awesome”. It’s a 6/10 game.
Again, my argument was for your second response about links...and how you could have gone about influencing change on the story. I didn’t say you said “only stream”...Move on.
Ai ai.
But, you didn’t actually say anything even remotely like that. If you said “why not put some direct links for us to donate in the story...like this one____?” you’d be helping your argument and it’s a change that a writer might take note of and edit into the write up. Instead, you told them to start their own streams…
“Maybe Kotaku could put its money where its mouth is? Publicly call out these actions.” Exactly what they are doing.
It’s comical when one party actively tries what they can to call attention to something only to have someone jump on the “put your money where your mouth is” bullshit. This entire week, they have been…
Been gaming for 38 years, never any issues with nasuea/headaches until this game. I played through VII twice, no problems. Something about VIII makes me violently ill after 30 mins. Really sucks.
But, she’s not in the game. Relax.
“You need to see them from a very specific angle in order for them to look good. The slightest deviation from that angle brakes the spell completely, and the result is a VERY awkward piece.”
Wow.
Enjoy.
That’s a lot of words to justify your purchase lol. And no, it doesn’t feel like a long lost cousin of any CPS1 or CPS2 release because even they had more depth. Look at Tower of Doom and/or Magic Sword and compare them to this game. Both had at least 5-10 more game mechanics to master/work at/discover. You are in the…
Oh no! Someone had a bad run in a game!
It’s a shame then that Battle Axe is as empty and lackluster as it is. 4 stages, all three characters play exactly the same, zero mechanics or variations as you go, no unlockables and no online leaderboards. It’s over in 25-30 minutes and once you’ve done a run, you’ve seen the entire thing. People lament that…
Don’t go too nuts. Battle Axe is extremely overpriced for the game that you are getting. 4 stages, zero mechanics to evolve, all 3 characters play nearly identically. It’s over in 20 minutes and without any sort of leaderboards or unlockables, it’s a giant letdown.
Wait till you get to Automata then :) It (imo) is even better, you’ll have a blast.
