Edgelord On Pulpit: Look At Me Everyone
Edgelord On Pulpit: Look At Me Everyone
Was probably a joke and stuff.
Yes really. I meant it wasn’t “meant to be” for the guy who was waiting. If you are on the fence about something like that where it’s a regular yearly or so release, then you most likely aren’t going to care about it either before or after release. Nobody is sitting on the fence wondering if they should grab Call of…
It’s been out for months!
Look at the images, what do you think?
Yeah. I would. I tried to start from an old file and things were so different I felt like I needed to see everything from the beginning again.
They still do. Give it a few hours and check back.
No. The game updates automatically. Trust me as a fellow old gamer who played the original release, these updates improve the game greatly. It takes the original idea of the game and begins to actually fufill that idea.
Welp. If the game was centered around playing with others and it dies out quickly then it wasn’t meant to be. You aren’t missing much if the collection of early adopters couldn’t hang around or give good enough praise for the stragglers to jump onboard. In single player games this doesn’t matter as much.
This is the correct approach. Would it be awesome if game companies put out complete games on launch? Yes but we as a community have been shown over the last 10 years that this is no longer their priority. It’s up to us to take responsibility for our own spending and be smart about it. I’m with ya.
I enjoyed it at launch for a good 25-30 hours or so without the vitriol and angst that most people had. Started up the game today and yeah, the update feels terrific (especially since I missed most of the others). I see a handful of my psn buddies fired it up as well. Hopefully this is a giant step towards redemption…
You seem to be a little cranked up over this topic. I never said anything was abused or not functional. However after years of Smash playing regularly with friends, the sticks are a bit loose and the rubber padding on my left analogs is deteriorating. So, I’ll say again. It would be nice to be able to buy new ones…

Agreed. This made me smile.
People were defending it before they got their hands on it. I own it, and I agree with every point Jason has made here. People are so hungry for the old school JRPG/Square experience that they can’t handle when someone tells them “this isn’t fantastic”.
First, was making a joke so no need to get your feathers ruffled. And no “most” people don’t carry around old GameCube controllers and if they did (like myself) they are pretty banged up after 20 years. It would be nice to grab new ones that don’t need adaptors.

Lesser companies would still leave the end of the cable as a real GameCube cable forcing you to either buy an adaptor when you had the WiiU or buy one now to make a quIck buck. Oh wait. #usb

Yeah allowing people to play games with legacy controllers that they enjoy is real sad.

He’s talking about his Uncle Eddie protecting Eddie Junior at a family bbq.
You spelled Dwayne too correctly.
Or, step into fucking reality.
