I think a likely theory is that Gigi was slightly (and I mean SLIGHTLY) off her game and the producers jumped on it to make her journey more interesting. They needed to do something to counterbalance her three wins out of five competitive episodes.

They really played that Jan denial up to the point where they had multiple people say the same thing in confessional. It was like okay guys can we not just believe that she’s sad for her friend? Christ.

Jaida eats A’Keria for breakfast. This season has really thrown a bad light on Season 11 in general. Jackie is a better Nina, Heidi is a better (or at least more exciting) Vanjie etc. With one major exception, Casting did a phenomenal job this season.

It was so sad to see Jan, Just Overlooked Jan, leave after doing so well in the lip sync but there is no doubt Widow killed it. That pain was alleviated massively by Heidi’s (and Crystal’s!) super strong weeks. God I love the two of them so much.

I’m on my third rewatch of the show (I found a Google Drive with all the eps) and it is so good. I’m glad they stopped censoring it on YouTube mid-Season 4. It was a weird choice.

There are full episodes of 8 out of 10 Cats DC on YouTube. A lot of them. And pretty much all of WILTY is on YouTube or Amazon. No luck on the third one though.

How is Crystal on a fast track? I love her but she’s been in the bottom 3 twice and this was her first time in the Top. 

Look, I get it: Gigi Goode is a Star. She’s going to win the season and there’s nothing us mortals can do about it. But holy shit in a season this strong they couldn’t spread the love a LITTLE and given it to Jan or Crystal? I’m glad it wasn’t Sherry winning her third challenge (though that’s presumably on the way)…

Or they just don’t do well in a competition setting. Trixie is arguably the most famous and successful RuGirl and she wasn’t that good on the show either time. And I would say she’s pretty versatile.

To be fair to Brita, whom I do not care for, she IS very popular in NY. I don’t even live there and I have heard her name for years. But being good at drag doesn’t always mean being good at Drag Race.

I realized the only queen I was positive about was Her so I’ll add that Heidi is still my favorite to win and I love her. If she makes it to the end she could slayanna (allday) a lip sync battle.

First the unpleasant business: It’s become clear that Scammy Poo is the funniest queen to be on the show since Bob. That ducking fitch gag made me laugh for a solid two minutes. Too bad a ducking fitch was the one to make it.

Are you on her PR team? I don’t see her look game as being that strong. Sure it would often work on a legit runway but this is a drag pageant. You gotta amp it up a little bit. And if we’re talking fishiness she doesn’t even compare to Miss Jaida Essence Hall.
