This is not how these things happen, apparently. You can't say "Wait, but all these other issues you don't give a fuck about" and expect someone to give a fuck about them. It's hypocritical by definition but it's also the way life works. You can't be mad about everything all the time, even though that occasionally

Is this an actual problem that needs correcting? Absolutely.

Oh my god, I just happened to check her Wikipedia page this morning and I screamed when I saw she had a new album coming out (in little over a month!) and a new song. I agree with some of the rest of you that this was probably not the best choice for lead single, but from the song titles and feature spots it looks

I love a good swallow of bitterness in the morning.

Well this is insane and counterproductive.

The point, which you seem to have completely missed, was that those ads air right next to ads for McDonalds and Cheesecake Factory. It wasn't about smoking, it was about hypocrisy. Like seriously, smoking could have been anything and the episode wouldn't have changed. Why are you railing against something that is the

The business side of art (particularly the ever-shifting world of music sales) always makes me queasy. Especially in this day and age where everyone seems to be trying to find some way to get on top. This Sprint stuff is pretty eyeroll-worthy.

Maybe it's comparable to how much the artist gets paid?

Wow, what a tall straw man you've built. It's almost like if you remove the subtext from satire it doesn't make sense!

It is when you're talking about a fucking animated comedy.

Thanks bro.

I don't think anyone liked or agreed with that episode. I feel like Parker himself probably regrets it, even if he'd never admit it.

I don't suppose you find this comment a little bit insensitive or irrelevant considering the situation? No, of course you don't.

Even if they weren't, Hillary hating was looked at as a noble cause in the progressive community when we were in the primaries. I feel as though the point still stands.

This is the fastest case of me going from "Wow, you brought this on yourself" to "SHE IS A BRAVE, RESPECTABLE CITIZEN" I've ever experienced. It really shows how an overreactive pushback can bring people together.

I seem to remember a lot of assholes shitting on Broad City for promoting Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. And now they hate on South Park for saying Hillary is as bad as Trump, something they just said six months ago. I'm sorry, but fuck people.

Everyone turned from saying South Park was experiencing a renaissance to hating on it REALLY quickly. Like in half a season. Not to put too fine a point on it, but doesn't that strengthen their arguments that people are becoming more and more thin-skinned and wishy-washy?

Which is too bad because that episode is probably the most sensitive, accurate 21 minutes of television that a white person has written about black oppression.

I'd love to see a serialized South Park season that wasn't playing off of internet culture. There are so many rich characters in the universe, so they could easily do like a murder mystery season or something without it feeling like a cheap gambit.

If this was five years ago I'd say you were just grabbing onto the most polarizing name in pop culture but it's 2017 and I do not understand this comparison one iota.
