At least when the society is in shambles and water is more valuable than diamonds, we'll know one thing is certain: Post a Lena Dunham-based article and Whovian will make the same joke as if he hasn't made it 500 times before. Glad you're keeping it fresh.

Frances Conroy, gay teenagers, gruesome violence and creepy atmosphere? Well all my boxes are checked!

It's bad enough that I stopped hate-watching it. But Morrison was pretty convincing in her role which kind of counts as revelatory considering how stiff and boring she was in House.

Oh my god a positive Lena Dunham article. The prophecy spoke of this but I never thought I'd see it come to pass.

I don't agree at all. Shea had to create moments for Grandrea to be "funny" (I really didn't like this challenge) while Trinity's moments were pretty much written into the script. Shea's role was memorable because of Shea while Trinity's was memorable because of the character.

I completely disagree. With fiction there is an element of separation for most people but for the teen crowd Instagram is an integral part of their lives. I almost agree with the apples and oranges comment because there's no comparing how immersive television is compared to online activity. Plus I think social media

I mean there are two sides to it. The other (credit to one of my favorite YouTube Let's Players for this theory) is that horror is the perfect medium to use sensitive subjects because the idea is that it's a horrifying situation. If it's campy horror I think rape, school shootings etc. would be inappropriate, but if

I disagree that the film lives or dies based on her performance. I thought Chris Hemsworth was pretty wooden in the first Thor movie but it was so much fun (in my minority opinion) that I didn't care. Remember Haywire, the film that starred the MMA woman who could only kind-of act? That's what Wonder Woman reminds me

One thing I'm jazzed about is the female Big Bad. FINALLY JESUS CHRIST. Female villains forever!

That's a good point. It's not like the DC characters are known for being heavy on the words. If it was a Marvel film then it would stick out a lot more.

I've read the article at least five times now to figure out where all these "snark" comments are coming from. Did they remove something or is my reading comprehension not what it used to be?

I don't know, I feel a little miffed that Chris Pine was featured just as heavily in the trailer as Gal Gadot. There's a strong-but-silent type and then there's "under-developed female character."

It's such a hard thing to do well. Like every time Ryan Murphy pulls a mass shooting out of his hat (I can name three instances off the top of my head) it feels really exploitative and gross.

You know this is a new generation of teenagers because ten years ago if someone was named Clay they were surely the antagonist.

Oh god, I hope not. Unless you're turning a school shooting into a season of American Crime (or The Wire or something equally as down-to-earth) I say you should stay away.

From what I understand the book glamorized it more than the series so people pre-judged that it would be the same situation.

The whole controversy about this series is ridiculous. If we're going to shut down stuff that exposes teenagers to suicide and suicide culture we might as well do away with Reddit, Instagram and Tumblr (I actually might be okay with this…), which have way more explicit content than a Netflix drama.

This isn't even a response to what I said, it's a response to the wording I used.

I'd love to see her amp up her lewks (in an Alyssa Edwardian way) and come back to kill All-Stars. She has all the tools she just needs a hook.

I think our opinions can exist side-by-side though. I don't see her as a superstar because there's nothing new or exciting but you're excited by her talent and drive in the competition. We're both seeing the same thing we just see it from different angles.
