How can you lie with an estimate? It’s an estimate and will have some range of uncertainty.
There is such a time-out period, but I believe there are two thresholds of not being responsive. There’s the initial warning, which is more like a reminder, and if you respond to that everything resets. You can get those repeatedly without issue. On our old Model X that warning was purely visual.
