@Captain_Tripps: There is an actual problem of pythons being released into the Everglades here in Florida and they have become a nuisance invasive species. Also there was that article a few years back of the python that ate the gator and the gator subsequently burst from the pythons stomach.

I may not live to see the final result of this program, but for people like me with Cystic Fibrosis this is an amazing outcome so far. Even though a cure may still be 50-100 years, or more, away this would be a wonderful thing to help people with the disease survive and extend their lives.
