Cubs fans haven’t been too cocky lately, from what I’ve seen. They’re going to win a lot of games again. But it’s been a trying season. Seemingly everything other than Baez has gone wrong.

They were projected to be under .500 by most formulas. They have definitely overachieved by a lot.
