....I can't believe I didn't catch that.

Agree on the axles. Portal Dynatracs at that.
Wow never seen an axle swapped bus before. Any more pics??
I don't believe they made that body style 4x4. It obviously has solid axles added front and rear as well. They made the next body style 4wd though, but still fully independent suspension. It's a Vanagon with Syncro 4wd.
"I don't want to sound like a _______ but [inserts phrase which makes me sound like said ______]."
It's worse when you see a Raptor decked out in contractor guise.
HA
Mehhhh TX is a *really* close runner up.
Damn and here I was looking forward to a KITT 2016 campaign.
Time for a d44/9in.
Nice 1 ton man.
'course if you really wanted to jump something, most older trucks/suvs can take quite the beating.
It's really the landing more than anything you've got to worry about. And that has more to do with weight distribution and acceleration than anything. Unless you've got a beater or a 2nd car, I wouldn't try it.
It's actually quite common with that body style (for good reason).
KM2s are actually really quiet on the road.
.
1-4 are because these represent what the aftermarket (specifically Mopar) can do with them. Obviously *if* these made it to production, they would be at factory height.
....and solid rear. But it's now competitive with SUVs it had no business parking next to in the past.
It has new Mopar portal axles. ($12.5k for the front, $11k for the rear, Mopar will sell them through their parts catalog). That's why it can fit 40inch tires with such minimal lift.
Need to pay more attention to the comments, Matt.
