I was saying there’s a chance, but clearly was mistaken. After a good opening, Rigondeaux was helpless in being able to control anything. Thanks for the amazingly kind words, Robert. I know people who I think write better about boxing than I. You’re one of them.

Last night, the difference is size in terms of what could or couldn’t be done was immediately apparent. Rigondeaux had a good 1st round, but could then do nothing against a guy Lomachenko’s size. Lomachenko also fought a particularly intelligent fight.

I’m so unsettled by last night’s fight that I still don’t know how to respond to it.
