I’m not really comparing the two. I haven’t played Spider-Man.  I’m mainly saying I like how the police worked in Infamous.

It is supposed to work that way yes, but occasionally in Infamous you can unknowingly trip a flag that makes the police think you need to be taken out.  So, there was an element of randomness to it.

You know what open world game did police interaction much better? Infamous. Sometimes they helped... and sometimes they decide you’re the bad guy and shoot at you whenever you get near them. Sometimes you help them... and sometimes you don’t. More random. More true to life.
