The body may be new for 2020, but the aeros are still mighty similar. I used to drive a 2017 Interceptor Utility around as a company car and on cold mornings you’d often find yourself “towing” a cloud. The exhaust would just stay in the low pressure zone behind the hatch. If the seal on that hatch is compromised in

This is the result of a recall a few years ago, around ‘18 IIRC. Something about the original design of the dual exhaust on the Sport and Interceptor models allowed exhaust fumes to enter the vehicle through the rear hatch and people were getting sick. Ford’s response was to make those downturned tips the standard

Apparently it’s to prevent soot buildup on the shiny tips. DI engines create a lot of soot, and lots of vehicles that have them have chrome or silver tips - both real and fake - that are now permanently blackened.

My guess is it was probably an estate or family member who just wanted to get rid of the car and didn’t want to go through the hassle of taking it to auction and didn’t know something like BAT exists. Seems like everyone I know unloads their recently-stopped-driving parents’ cars at CarMax.

Carmax didn’t buy that at auction, it was either sold to them or traded in by a customer. Carmax employees get spectacular deals on cars out of their wholesale (auction-bound) inventory (the store I worked at charged $300 over cost for normal cars, and a still nicely discounted price for specialty cars). I worked for

I’d venture to say 70% will be bought by affluent bro types and will see less than 3k miles per year. The other 30% will be repo’d in 1 to 2 years and will be pretty affordable since we’ll be in a recession by then. Not sure I’d want to buy one of those 30% though, they’ll probably be hammered on. Even now, I hardly

ah yes single digit fuel economy just in time for $10 a gallon gas. but dont worry youll be able to finance this for 96 mo at 9% after the upcoming rate hike. throw on the dealer markup and im sure this is a $150k truck no one will be able to afford to drive

There are lots of potentially viable options besides police as currently constructed. If you haven’t heard of them, you’ve intentionally not been listening for at least two years. Some jurisdictions have tried, with success, replacing calls for mental health crises with actual mental health professionals rather than

If you abolish the police, who is going to stand around for an hour waiting for backup while a gunman is in the school with your kids? Answer me that.

i mean, yes, almost every single car comes out with more hp than the model it replaced...

It is impressive how Ford has been able to absolutely print money with these things no matter what they do with them

1. Make Raptor truck with V8

Controversial take: You need a different dog. I suggest this one.

I will say that them delivering a car to you with a seven day test drive period and them coming to you to buy a used vehicle is really nice. I sold a vehicle to a dealership recently- got an online quote, took it in and I then had to haggle and shit over the price they offered to me in-person, which was two grand

Used car dealers are such a pain in the ass that a lot of people are willing to lose a lot of money simply for the convenience of not having to deal with one.

bought one of these with like 50k miles, got a glowing PPI from the BMW dealer, and needed $5k of work 3 months after purchase.”

From my experience, 8 years of selling cars and this model is the only BMW model that’s passed PPI with flying colors and then needed major work within a year. Not just once, but multiple cars. Ms, N54s, no sweat, but even one of my colleagues bought one of these with like 50k miles, got a glowing PPI from the BMW

Gonna go against the grain here and say in this market - NP, assuming the PPI doesn’t uncover anything, door jams are fine and there are service records to back up mechanical running order claims. 2 New doors from junkyard/ebay, god knows there are enough grey X5's running around. Spend a grand or a weekend installing

Quick and very easy NO Dice! He poses it on a muddy driveway(?) around other junky cars for his quickie photos and obviously doesn’t give a shit about things in general, even selling his busted-up ride.
