The entire trend of videos that are “fuck with your pet by doing X” needs to die. Some of the things are harmless but all of them encourage the attitude that pets are entertainment instead of responsibility.

I use Turo when I want something with extremely high mileage limits. I took a trip out west recently, rented a Range Rover that had a 700 mile per day limit, and it was perfect. When you want something nice with huge mileage limits Turo is basically the only way without paying an insane amount.

I think a lot of people get in to it after buying a new car, thinking they’ll make up the car payment + some profit, and then sell it in a couple years. Obviously being in good condition is key to this strategy.

I hate saying this - but had this been an attractive white girl, this would be splashed across the national news, teams of volunteers would have been out searching this last month, and we’d have serious people, asking serous questions about what happened.

This is the biggest question I had. How was his vehicle impounded without being searched? An entire body was in the trunk. A huge ball was dropped here.

So, why wasn’t his car properly examined by the authorities? I mean, bodies in trunk are Crime Scene 101. And if his vehicle was unknowingly impounded, why did it take so long to connect back to the victim?  Either details are missing here, or we have another case of shoddy investigative work.  

I too have a punitive government in my state jacking up the registration fees for EVs.

Any of the discussions regarding Norway’s oil exports aside, part of the reason why so many individuals & companies in Norway are buying EVs is because the nation is incentivizing it’s population to actually do so. Buyers of EVs receive all sorts of registration & tax breaks, key of which include no purchase/import…
