The title of this episode should have been "The Red Courtroom".
The title of this episode should have been "The Red Courtroom".
Am I the only one who thinks Diaz as a character is basically the sitcom version of Kalinda from The Good Wife?
Let's not forget about Meredith, the ridiculously incompetent receptionist. (there's an airplane here to see her!)
We need a spinoff where Joan speaks like an old Jewish neighbor lady.
just leaving this here: http://fuckyeahbreakingmad….
Bob: Manolo couldn't hurt a fly.
I loved the "jeez, they're like high schoolers" look that Don and Joan shared while Peggy and Ted were giggling about the ad. :)
Don's not only a whining baby (fetal position + St Joseph's ad) but also a monster according to Peggy in this episode.
He IS Rosemary's baby!
don't tell me you can't see her outlive everybody on the show!
You're probably right about the Emmys not going back to older shows, I've noticed that tendency too. Although if we think about it, it's ridiculous how the amazing acting on the show has never gotten any recognition by probably the most prestigious tv awards.
I just really hope Joan's sickness wasn't an indication to anything worse.
While I'm pretty sure Joan knows about Bob, I don't know about her being too perceptive for it. In season two (I don't know which episode) there's a scene where one of the creative guys, who later cuts Peggy's hair, tells Joan and some other guys that he is gay and she says something like "Well, he managed to fool me".
yeah, could be.
maybe it's too far fetched but the new name (sc&p) doesn't include don's, cutler's and ted's name so if any of them dies the name of the agency would remain the same.
Remember in episode 7, when Joan's mom says that Bob is adorable, Joan's immediate reply is: "he's not interested".
So I also think she knows.
lmao! now I want to see their trip to the beach even more.
or at least a small scene with them sitting in Joan's office smoking and gossiping.
Talking about predictions: I think any indication for a Ted & Peggy relationship will turn out to be a red herring and they are more likely to go down the Peggy & Stan road. But Pete and Peggy are definitely over, for their own sake.
I'm pretty sure someone (although I wouldn't bet on Megan) will die in the season finale, because every episode in this season felt like they constantly had "DEATH" written all over them
they should totally make a "Sally Draper's adventures in the '70s" spinoff a few years from now.
aw poor Sally… first she walks in on Roger & Marie and now his dad & Sylvia. I wonder whose affair she's going to discover next, haha.
