The easiest things to adjust are resolution and FPS. Put the same game on more powerful hardware, and it takes very little adjustment in the software to make it better.
Yeah, My Laptop can play Crisis. It’s not a good idea though.
I think VR is definitely the motivation behind this console. That said, while games may not get a graphical boost in settings, the FPS will almost certainly be improved. I long was afraid the PS4 couldn’t handle convincing VR, so this is probably an upgrade to the minimum viable product for PSVR.
