LOL!! This is exactly why I haven’t even finished Oblivion. All I really did was just ride my horse around for hours.

agreed, it looks good for what it is. But it just makes me wonder what it could look like.
Take the steam release of Deathsmiles. They included the arcade version. Having never played it before, I started with this version. I enjoyed it thoroughly, yeah it was zoomed and super pixelated. Then I chose the normal…
I much rather they go for a higher rez version of this look (GG/Blazblu). Most people are into the retro thing, but I am not. Don’t get me wrong, I play a handful of them, this game will be among them. I just wish they would shoot for the NEO-GEO at the minimum. Imagine if broforce was trying to emulate neo-geo…
At least they are usually under $20.
This is a pleasant surprise, plus it comes out this year!
When I first got a pc back in 99. I felt the same way. I had heard all of these awesome things about BG and ID. So I picked them up, it was so different from the Jrpg’s that I had been raised on. I couldn’t adjust to the change. Although I did get into Fallout Tactics because of the turn base. (I know the bastard of…
ahh that game was horrible. I think I’m going to fire up MAME to remind myself.
yeah i don’t get this whole youtube gamer celebrity or people watching streams thing. I went on twitch to see how it is, I was amazed that 2000 people were watching a dude play nba2k. Ummm why not play the game yourself. especially in this day and age with steam sales, humble bundles, etc. games are permanently 50-60…
oh man please let that be real and not an early April fools joke.
it seems like everyone got it the same day, regardless if they are customer or press. So expect an review within the week.
Thanks for the info. I fall into the same camp too haha. Mainly because I don’t want to restart my computer.
Without sounding snarky, most of these fixes have been common fixes for games for quite sometime. It usually only takes you 30 seconds or to figure it out. I would say a good amount of PC gamers are from the younger generation, so they lose their mind with one hiccup, or complain that it runs like shit. Yet they are…
I whole heartily agree with you. Being a Console and Pc player, I miss the unnecessary huge pc boxes with bible length manuals. Some even had keyboard overlays.
exactly! those issues seem pretty minor in my opinion. Just first world problems. Which is what gaming sites are known for. I was thinking the servers were down or the queues were ridiculous. You all know we won’t care about pre order stuff in about a month.
it’s just bandwagon hate. there’s nothing wrong with them. You can’t blame them for having a store for games they publish. Even MS and their Win 10 exclusivity. This is one of the few cases where people prefer a monopoly. The funny thing is when you do buy a non exclusive EA/Ubisoft game on their platform, and you get…
With how popular this has become on PC, it shows that there is a market for this game. Maybe we will get a proper Harvest Moon for pc.
the other weird thing is that the stalks are usually bent halfway at 44 degrees. it's amazing how well the plank and rope theory stuck in the public's psyche. it's akin to people thinking they used pulley and rope to move monoliths that are 2,000,000 lbs.
all of these comments saying why do we even need this, reminds me of the beginning of this "HD" craze. people said the same when they were happy with s-video and dvd's. we just think we are at the apex again, and there is no need.
the reason people care that it goes over 60 fps, is a way to show that it is a constant 60 fps. so when they say the highest fps is 80-120, actually means it will almost always be 60. no matter how many effects are on screen. i know some like to brag, a more subtle way of saying this is i get a "solid" 60 fps.
well i own most of those game from buying them during steam sales, when ea games were available on steam. funny ad though.
