We live in Manhattan (no car). In the spring, my 5 year old wanted to go camping. I asked him if he wanted to go camping with lots of people or in the “woods woods”. He said he wanted to go to the Appalachian Trail (we take Metro-North there a lot for day hikes).

It isn’t “free stuff” it is payment *earned* for the hundreds of years of disadvantages caused by slavery, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, red lining, GI Bill excluding black americans, etc., etc., etc., etc, to even today.

This is true, but at least it would help one part of the very long pipeline where people of color are forced out.

New York City is further muddied by co-ops and how they treat monthly maintenance (i.e. HOA fees).  Routine to see apartments you can buy with a monthly mortgage of $2,000 and HOA fees of $2,000 (for exterior maintenance, super, doorperson, etc.).  It gets really insane and they seem very hard to avoid.

Yeah funny how suddenly the left is thinking McCain is cool or special.  Dude was a dick, and we can blame him for Palin and subsequently Trump.  A broken clock is right twice a day... I enjoy when Trump drags McCain and will be doubly happy if Trump gets in trouble with the GOP because of it.
