Oh man... this is terrible news. I loved Daedalic. They were one of the few companies still aggressively supporting narrative heavy point & click games. Sure, not every game they made was amazing, but they put out enough unique and interesting stuff that I always waited to see what they did next.

The synopsis feels a lot like something that was designed to anger a CERTAIN SUBSET of Star Wars fan.

I love Spider-Gwen. I can’t believe Sony is making an El Muerto movie instead of a live action Spider-Gwen movie.

Because both games draw on a shared history of steampunk fantasy (which is entwined heavily with Alternate History). I saw no similarities that were original to Bioshock.

And probably a lot less actively stupid, too, so yeah.

I mean, Brian Fargo’s Bioshock Infinite is probably a lot more interesting than Ken Levine’s Bioshock Infinite.

I watched both linked trailers and it seems like a stretch. bioshock didn’t invent steampunk, robots and monorails.

I know that, hence why I only said the bulk of it was on-station. It makes up much more of the show’s total runtime than their off-station jaunts, just like how blaster shootouts and space battles make up much more of the original trilogy compared to the lightsaber shenanigans.
