I’d recommend Korean or Japanese sunscreens, which are much lighter and stronger than their Western counterparts. I like the Missha all-around safe block, which is matte and super gentle. Also a fan of Bioré watery essence sunscreen, but it does have alcohol in it so if that’s an issue for your skin, beware!

Yay, someone else on the mucin train! Have you tried the Benton aloe toner? It also has a ton of mucin and makes my skin so plump and bright. God I love skincare

Yes! I had a “useless” degree (Art History and Classical Studies) and loved school. Transitioning away from that kind of stimulation and community was hard, but it’s kind of exciting to start something new, too.

I kinda hated Telegraph Avenue . . . I’m from Oakland and spent a lot of time in that area as a pre-teen so it was bizarre and kind of disappointing to read. Cavalier and Clay forever though!

Also, the Roma pass and Firenze card are totally worth it! Get to skip the lines and it comes out to be cheaper as well. In Florence definitely go to the Palazzo Vecchio, the Fortezza, and the Pitti Palace. The gardens at the palace are GORGEOUS and usually pretty quiet. Also, super good pizza nearby there.
